Accessibility Statement
Our commitment to making digitecultra.io accessible to as many people as possible.
Our commitment
We believe the web should work for everyone. We design and develop our site — and the sites we build for clients — with accessibility as a core requirement, not an afterthought.
Standards we follow
This site is built to conform with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. WCAG covers a wide range of recommendations for making web content more accessible to people with disabilities including blindness and low vision, deafness and hearing loss, learning disabilities, cognitive limitations, limited movement, speech disabilities, photosensitivity, and combinations of these.
What we've done
- Keyboard navigation — the entire site is operable using only a keyboard. Visible focus indicators are provided on all interactive elements.
- Color contrast — body text and interactive elements meet WCAG AA contrast ratios (4.5:1 for body text, 3:1 for large text).
- Screen readers — semantic HTML, proper heading hierarchy, ARIA labels on icon-only buttons, and skip-to-content links throughout.
- Alt text — all meaningful images have descriptive alt text.
- Forms — every form input has an associated label, with error messages programmatically linked.
- Resize — text can be resized up to 200% without loss of content or functionality.
- Motion — we respect `prefers-reduced-motion` and minimise animation for users who request reduced motion.
Known limitations
We're not perfect. We're aware of and working on:
- Some third-party embeds (e.g. Calendly) may not fully meet WCAG AA. We escalate accessibility issues with our vendors.
- Older blog posts may have inconsistent alt text — we audit and fix these on a rolling basis.
Testing
We test the site regularly with: automated tools (axe DevTools, Lighthouse Accessibility audit), manual keyboard navigation testing, and screen reader testing using VoiceOver (macOS / iOS) and NVDA (Windows).
Tell us if something is broken
If you encounter accessibility barriers on this site, please tell us. Email accessibility@digitecultra.io with details (page URL, the issue, your assistive technology if relevant). We aim to respond within 5 business days and fix critical issues within 30 days.
Formal complaint
If we don't respond satisfactorily, you can contact the relevant accessibility regulator in your jurisdiction (e.g. the Equality and Human Rights Commission in the UK).
